I see a roller coaster ride for the world, a series of ups and downs in the economic arena, and some serious times for the world and the cold church. This will cause repercussions in other areas. Fear will grip people’s hearts because of the things coming upon the world. There will be a sharp increase of various calamities of nature that will occur and cause financial difficulties on the earth as well. Men will do terrible things because of the fear that grips them.
I see a more intense persecution of the true Christians by the world and other so called Christians (in name only). The love of MANY shall wax cold and grow colder. Deception will be at an all-time high. There will be a tremendous need for God’s people to cry out for and walk in discernment being led by the Holy Spirit.
The church will become more and more spiritually dull to the point that it will declare good evil and evil good under the guise of so called unity. Deception will be at epidemic levels because of a lack of love for the truth. They will be caught up in the drunken cares of life and spiritually become desolate and there will be a famine of honorable men (ministers) to the point that spiritual dearth will be the results in the church. There will be ministries and ministers that will sell out in the name of unity. Those who have held the truth will speak evil of the way of truth. They will be as Isaiah declares, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.” (See: Isaiah 5:13 below) They cannot discern between good and evil.
Isaiah 5:8-13 will be the results of that dullness, "8 Woe unto them that join house to house, (or ministry to ministry for the sake of unity or alliance with Christ denying religions) that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth! 9 In Mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses (churches) shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant. 11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them! 12 And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of His hands. 13 Therefore My people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, (in a dearth) and their multitude dried up with thirst."
Being led of the Spirit will also be totally necessary because of the need to survive economically and especially spiritually for God has set aside provision for the true body of Christ. Those who hunger and thirst for the things of God We WILL be fed in the time of famine. Psalms 33:18,19, "Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy; 19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine (spiritual famine and natural famine)."
There will be an increase in demonic attack causing division and confusion because the ministry and the church do not and will not recognize their true enemy. Their refusal to preach and practice deliverance will result in the devil being able to wreck havoc in and on the church because they do not know how to deal with the true source of their problems. The devil has come down among us for his time is short.
Here is the good news. Isaiah 40:1-5, “1 Comfort ye, comfort ye My people, saith your God. 2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD'S hand double for all her sins. 3 The voice of Him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: 5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it."
The Church needs to speak comfortably to Israel and stand with her in every way because as we do we will be blessed. Although the world will be in turmoil, we will be blessed as we follow the Lord. We will experience some of the most powerful demonstrations of God’s Spirit in those places where His people are really hungry. The crooked places will be made straight for us as His children. The low place (places of lack) will be made level. We will hear HIS voice in the wilderness (those times when things are seemingly desolate and the church has a dull ear). God’s light (glory) will shine through the TRUE church brighter and brighter due to the extreme darkness in the world. This will be the finest hour spiritually and every other way for the TRUE Church. His glory will shine upon us.
